Gionee launches the Marathon M4 with 5000mAh battery in India

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Gionee, launched Gionee Marathon M4 with a 5000mAh battery and 4G support in India. The Marathon M4 smartphone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and is topped with Gionee’s Amigo 3.0 UI. It is powered by a 1.3 3GHz quad-core processor with 2GB RAM.

The device has an internal storage capacity of 16GB which can be expanded upto 32GB via microSD. The 176 gram smartphone has a 5-inch (720x1280 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display, an 8MP rare shooter with LED flash and a 5MP front camera. It also has dual SIM facility that supports 4G bands in India.

The 5000mAh battery of the smartphone claims to have 400 hours of standby time and 18 hours of talk time on 3G networks. Other features of the Marathon M4 include GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/ g/ n, Bluetooth, microUSB and GPS. The Gionee Marathon M4 is available for a price of Rs 15,499 in black and white colours across leading online platforms and retail outlets in India.
