The meet was attended by CPM district secretary Pothineni Sudarshan Rao, CPI district secretary Bagam Hemanth Rao and other senior leaders of both the parties Nunna Nageswara Rao, P Venkateswarlu, Yerra Srikanth, Potu Prasad.
The leaders, who dwelt at length over seat sharing and the strategies to be adopted in the Corporation elections, expressed confidence that they would outwit the other parties if extended support to each other. The leaders also claimed credit for the development Khammam city had witnessed over the years.
