Old City violence: Leaders meet Guv, seek probe
All Party leaders met the Governor demanding that the latter order a detailed enquiry on the violence took place in the Old City on GHMC elections day and file a murder case against MIM leaders Asaduddin Owaisi, Akbaruddin Owaisi and their followers, who indulged in violence by attacking the public representatives as had been done in the case of Mohammed Pehlwan, who attacked Akbaruddin Owaisi.

Leaders of various political parties including K Jana Reddy, Mohammed Ali Shabbir, Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy, P Rammohan Reddy (Congress), Dr K Laxman, Chintala Ramachandra Reddy, Ramachander Rao (BJP) L Ramana,
A Revanth Reddy, Errabelli Dayakar Rao (TDP) and K Shiva Kumar (YSRCP) called on the Governor and apprised him of the violent incidents that took place on Tuesday. They urged the Governor to initiate action against the MIM leaders and their followers for indulging in violence against other political leaders and cadre in Old City.
