The Telangana government has offered the Public Service Commissions (PSCs) of other States to assist them in digitising recruitment processes on the lines of Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT), which is being successfully implemented by the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC). 

Hyderabad: The Telangana government has offered the Public Service Commissions (PSCs) of other States to assist them in digitising recruitment processes on the lines of Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT), which is being successfully implemented by the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC).

In this regard, the State IT, Electronics and Communications Secretary, Jayesh Ranjan made the offer. He accompanied the UPSC Chairman Deepak Gupta and Chairpersons of 29 State PSCs, who were here to attend the 18th National Conference of Public Service Commissions, which was held on February 4 and 5.

Ranjan detailed them on T-Hub, the famed tech incubator located in IIIT-H campus, and explained how the startups are being groomed at the Catalyst building. Speaking on this occasion, the UPSC Chairman Deepak Gupta praised the T-Hub initiative and stated the model was worth emulating by other states.

The Chairpersons later interacted with IT companies that are specialized in the development of technology solutions for online examinations and digital evaluation and assessment. Chairman of TSPSC Ghanta Chakrapani said the TSPSC had successfully conducted competitive exams online on a mass scale and it was the first Commission in the country to do so.

He lauded the assistance of IT E&C Department in this regard. To give a firsthand feel of IT Industry in Hyderabad, the IT department has organised an IT Tour for the Chairpersons wherein they visited Infosys campus in Gachibowli.
