Officials to urge villagers to conserve water
The district officials will start a campaign in the villages urging them to conserve water during this drought season. To this effect, the district T.K Sridevi directed all the special officers and Revenue Division Officers (RDOs) of the five revenue divisions on Tuesday.

She asked the officials to tour their respective divisions extensively and try solving the problems at the earliest. As to the issues of fodder and cattle, the collector directed the officials to take immediate steps to provide fodder for cattle and conduct animal health camps in the villages.
Focusing on Gadwal division, she has asked the special officers to visit the government schools and solve the problems that are ailing education in that area. She ordered for additional classes during morning and evening to cover the syllabus. Laxminarayana Zilla parishad CEO, Damodar Reddy, Project Director DRDA and Laxmi Bai, DEO took part in the video conference with the special officials.
