Artists Swathi and Vijay, adorned Hyderabad, with their graffitis have painted a government school in Nadiwada, Warangal, to make it look interesting and appealing to kids. The duo garnered accolades for their graffitis in the city, thought to make the school look better so that children, who are not interested in going to school can attend it regularly.

They said that the thought of painting on government primary schools came from the experience of doing street art graffiti in Hyderabad. “We made paintings on the walls of government primary schools in a rural village to inspire kids and parents. We believe that education should become more interesting process of learning and to grow up in a very enthusiastic way,”

the duo shared Swathi and Vijay said that making the surroundings interesting made children attend school regularly and literacy rate in that particular village is also increasing. “Now the children are willing to be part of that school and their parents also understand the importance of education,” they said.
