The discourses on ‘Mahabharata’ Sabha parvam, Virata parvam and on Udyoga parvams by Dr Kandadai Ramanujacharya concluded on Sunday. As a part of promoting the religion and traditions, Mummineni Subbrao’s Siddhartha kalapeetham has organised these speeches from March 31 to April 3 at Sidhartha Auditorium.

As a part of promoting the religion and traditions, Mummineni Subbrao’s Siddhartha kalapeetham has organised these speeches from March 31 to April 3 at Sidhartha Auditorium.

Kandadai Ramanujacharya is a walking encyclopedia on mythological issues, religion, philosophy, literature, ancient science and traditional subjects. Mummineni Subbrao’s Siddhartha kalapeetham has created an opportunity for literature lovers. Dr Kandadai started his speech on the first day was from the Mahabharata and was written by Maharshi Veda Vyas.

The speaker discussed in depth about the generations of Vyasa bhagavan. He also gave details of Vasista Mahrishi, Parasara, Suka and the important events of their life. With his vast knowledge, Ramanujacharya discussed about the creation of Krutayaga, Tretayuga, Dwaparyuga and Kaliyuga.

He aptly touched the topic of Rasaleela in Bhagavata, where Lord Sri Krishna attracted Gopikas. He said that there is a divine secret behind that act of Lord Krishna. After in-depth introduction regarding the origin of ‘Mahabharata’ Dr Kandadai Ramanujacharya started the subject announced. With his metallic expressional voice Kadadai gripped the auditorium.

The speaker has explained the incidents in Adi, Sabha, Virata and Udyoga parvam comparing it with Drama in the past. He also touched many valid and valuable points which will not be mentioned by other speakers in their discussions. The audience really enlightened by his speach Dr Kandadai Rama was felicitated by Dr Chivukula Sundrarama Sarma and other office bearers of Sidhartha Kalapetham.
