Old culvert bridge to get a facelift

G Sayanna, MLA, Secunderabad Cantonment, flagged off the widening works of the Old Culvert Bridge, near Philips Godown at Bowenpally. The repair and widening works of the bridge by Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB) would cost around 1 crore and five lakhs and will be completed in three months.

K Pandu Yadav, SCB ward member, said, “This bridge was constructed with stones during the Nizam’s rule is presently in a dilapidated condition and after the completion fo widening works, it will ease the traffic congestion in the area.”

Local residents and ward members of SCB were present during the inauguration.
