Celebrating the ‘Glory of Hyderabad’ an enriching Cultural Gala under the patronage of The Consulate General of India will be held on May 15, 2016, from 11 am – 11 pm at Addison, West North Ave, Chicago, USA.
Celebrating the ‘Glory of Hyderabad’ an enriching Cultural Gala under the patronage of The Consulate General of India will be held on May 15, 2016, from 11 am – 11 pm at Addison, West North Ave, Chicago, USA.
The event will be a platform to experience, feel, and support the extraordinary artistic creativity of the Urdu and Arabic calligraphy in India. Urdu Daily Siasat, will showcase hundreds of art pieces of the calligraphy made by artists from India.
These pieces will be available for sale during the event. Qadir Ali Baig Theatre Foundation, Hyderabad will present two internationally acclaimed plays, ‘Spaces’ (English; Duration 90 Minutes) and ‘Quli: Dilon ka Shahzaada’ (Urdu; Duration 65 minutes).
These plays have been directed by Mohammad Ali Baig. The evening will culminate with a documentary on Hyderabad’s glorious past and present, award, followed by authentic Hyderabadi dinner and Qawwali, in short it will be a mini Hyderabadi experience in Chicago.
