The flower show at the replica of Sri Venkateswara temple of Tirumala at PWD grounds in the city has proved to be a major attraction. The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) arranged the flower show on mythological themes to highlight the divine glory of Seven Hills, the abode of Lord Venkateswara.

A variety of flower decorations in the form of elephant, kalasham, veena, dolphin, peacock and other things arranged at the show provide a visual treat. The episodes of Vamana and Balichakravarti, narration of Ramayana by Lava and Kusha, entry of Brihaspati into Kanya Rashi marking Krishna Pushkaralu, origin of rivers from the lotus feet of Mahavishnu, Akasharaju and Padmavathi Devi at Padma Sarovar and lifting of Govardhanagiri by Lord Krishna were also well depicted in the form of flower decorations at the show.

The event was arranged under the supervision of Deputy Director of Horticulture Srinivasulu. A large number of Pushkar pilgrims are visiting the flower show every day after having darshan of Lord Venkateswara.
