Noted publicity designer Gunuguntla Sri Karna (37), popularly known as Karna died at Katepally recently in Atmakuru mandal, according to reports reaching the district headquarters on Tuesday. He was said to be suffering from throat cancer for some time.

He is survived by wife, a daughter and a son. He worked as publicity designer for films like Alajadi, Satyabhama, Nenu Pelliki Ready, Sonthuru, Mangatayaru Tiffin Centre, Lakshmiputhrudu, Veediki Dookudekkuva among others.

President, general secretary and treasurer of publicity designers’ union along with some film producers and directors expressed deep condolences on the sudden demise of the publicist.
