Gopal Rao takes charge as TSNPDCL CMD
A senior official of the TSNPDCL, A Gopal Rao assumed charge as the chairman and managing director (CMD) of Northern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited here on Thursday.
Warangal: A senior official of the TSNPDCL, A Gopal Rao assumed charge as the chairman and managing director (CMD) of Northern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited here on Thursday.
He replaced the outgoing CMD K Venkata Narayana. Speaking after taking charge, he said all out efforts would be made to develop the company and to offer quality services in a transparent manner to the people.
The newly appointed CMD has sought the company employees and officials to march forward towards achieving ‘Golden Telangana’. He asked them to make efforts to ensure 9-hour quality power supply to farmers as part of the government’s commitment.
Gopal Rao has thanked the State government and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for recognising his 34 years of service in the TSNPDCL. He was greeted by the company officials, employees and union leaders on the occasion.
The company directors B Venkateswar Rao and B Narsinga Rao, chief general managers P Sandhya Rani, T Sadar Lal, B Ashok Kumar, A Nagesh, V Mohan Rao, T Madhusudhan and V Tirupathi Reddy and others were among those who greeted the new CMD.
