Adilabad: Minister A Indrakaran Reddy on Friday handed cheques to the family members of policemen who died recently while discharging their duties at the Police Commemoration Day at the office of the Superintendent of Police in Nirmal town.
He paid tributes to the police martyrs at a special programme, after lighting ‘Amarjyoti’ and offering floral tributes.
Addressing the gathering, the Minister praised the police for ensuring peace in society. “It is because of their efforts that peace and harmony are prevailing in the society”, he remarked.
