The Collector chaired a review meeting with officials of irrigation and agricultural departments at the Collectorate conference hall here on Wednesday.

Speaking at the meeting, Collector Sharath said the action plan for rabi season should be implemented successfully with the coordination of various departments in the district.

The officers responsible for implementing the action plan will receive an award from the Indian government under Pradhan Mantri Krushi Sinchai Yojana.

According to the village Panchayat and tanks present in the panchayat limits from which ayukut how much water will be supplied for how many hours along with including the complete information on the flexies, a detailed report must be prepared suggested the collector to the officer of the Irrigation Department Buchi Reddy.

Forming a committee with the officials of the various departments such as irrigation, horticulture and agriculture and also coordinating with others, a perfect action plan must be prepared for rabi season.

The district should be made as a role model to other districts in implementing the scheme, the Collector suggested to the officials.

Sub-Collector Shashank, DRDO Project Director Aruna Sri, District Irrigation Officer Buchi Reddy, Additional Director of Agricultural department Kalpana and Jagtial Sub-division Deputy Executive Engineer Shashibushan were present along with other officials.
