Experts stress on adapting to tech advancements

A daylong workshop on “Orientation Programme on Communication & Public Relations’ was held at Kasturba Gandhi Degree & PG College in Secunderabad on Tuesday.
Dr CV Narasimha Reddi, Advisor & Editor PR Voice magazine and Dr Anitha Reddy, Principal of the institution were present at the event, which was held in association with Public Relations Society of India (PRSI).
Delivering the keynote address, Dr Reddi, stated that Public Relations was the need of the hour. “With the advancement of science and technology we need to gear up and put to use latest social media towards PR.
We are living in an age of global environment of communications and each one of us has the responsibility to communicate effectively.”
Dr P Venugopal Reddy, Chairman, PRSI Hyderabad Chapter outlined the need to PR education.
Principal Reddy explained how Communications and Public Relations were important and especially for students who would like to shape their carrier were eager to learn the subject.
G Aneeja, Secretary (PRSI), Krishna Bajji, Frederick Michael and Prof. Srinatha Chary of Palamuru University, Warangal were also present.
