Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre began the holiday season with ‘Tree Lighting Ceremony’ at its premises recently.

In-house guests, media friends and other luminaries from various walks of life shared the spirit of Christmas.

The hotel was beautifully decorated with a brightly lit Christmas tree, but an intricately designed Snow Castle was the show stealer.

Patisserie Chef Manumon and his team created themaster piece over 128 hours, giving the castle fine detailing on each pillar.

Le Café was transformed into a giant ginger bread house with over 40 miniature houses occupying the interiors, made responsibly using leftover biscuit crumbs after recycling them with flour.

Executive Chef Gaurav Malhotra mentioned, “The left-over crumbs produced more than 4000 strips of ginger biscuits that have been pasted on the ginger bread house.”

Anju Madan, Principal - Global Edge School said, “We are extremely proud and grateful to be associated with the Novotel Hotel and thank them immensely for giving us this opportunity since the past three years to be a part of their prestigious lighting of the Christmas tree ceremony.

This whole event is symbolic of the feel good spirit and the unity of our vast and diverse nation.”
