Mancherial: A tiger in the Pinnaram forest zone was recently electrocuted when it came into contact with electric lines installed by hunters.

Kawwal Tiger Zone chief conservator Sanjay Kumar Gupta is understood to have breathed fire on the forest personnel for their dereliction to duty.

According to reports, the officials installed CCTV cameras at Pangidisomaram, alerted by the big cat savouring on an ox in the village.

The CCTV camera footage recorded that the tiger was on the prowl at 10.43 pm on November 17. Later, the officials failed to trace the tiger and keep an eye on hunters.
