The second day of the convention became a stage for “Brinda nrityam” by dance masters like Rajareddy, Radhareddy, Kousalyareddy, Vedantam Radhesyam, Pasumarthy Rattaiah Sarma, Pasumarthy Vithal, Dr Bala, Madhavapeddi Murthy, and their disciples for the keerthana “Swamyrara Yaduvamsa sudhambhudhi”.

The spectators gathered in the auditorium appreciated the abhinaya of ‘Padmabhushan’ Rajareddy as Sri Krishna for the keerthana.

Jyothy Chintalapudi from USA, Yashoda Tagore from Hyderabad presented an impressive performance for “Astavidha nayakabhinayam”.

They performed a different quality of Vasakasajjaka, Virahotkanthita, Svadhinabhartruka, Kalahantarita, Khandita, Vipralabdha, Proshitabhartruka and Abhisarika.

Pasumathy Seshasayi, Srinivasa Sarma, Vithal, sons of famous dance guru Pasumarthy Venugopala Sarma, jointly presented keerthanas like Andadabhiravi, Srigaralahari, Adhyatmika Ramayanam.

For this dance, Pavani supported with vocals and Sridhar was on Mridangam, Venkatesh on flute and Dakshinamurthy on violin rendered instrumental support.

Vijayanthi Kashi of Bengaluru presented ‘Kanyakumari’ dance ballet and received applause from the audience.

The Malattur bhagavatars presented “Bhakta Prahlada” in Malattur style. The group of Vaniramana of Hyderabad presented ‘Dasavataram’ and Challa Vedavalli from Kuwait showcased ‘Kalabhiravastakam’.

The team of Dr Vineela presented ‘Jagadanandakaraka’, Sappa Sivakumar of Vijayawada exhibited ‘Sambho Siva sambho’, Mahankali Suryanarayana Sarma presented ‘ksheerasagara madhanam’, Devulapalli Srikant from Nizamabad staged ‘Alivelmanga Vilasam’, Khaleel from Guntur offered ‘Kalabhirava’.

The audience hailed the skill of Smitha Sastry’s “Simhanandini”, which was portrayed with her pada narthanam on a white cloth.
