Hanamkonda: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao would accord due recognition to all those, who worked for the party and for the statehood cause, asserted Warangal (West) MLA D Vinay Bhasker.He said the CM was fully aware of the sacrifices made by the party workers and Telangana activists and their sacrifices would never be forgotten. The MLA addressed party workers at a monthly extended executive of TRS Urban wing in Hanamkonda on Sunday.

The Opposition parties like TDP, Congress, BJP and Left wing parties, instead of coming up with constructive criticism, have been making false campaign against the TRS government. The opposition parties were trying to hamper the progress of Telangana, he added.

However, the people were aware of the government’s commitment towards the State development and hence they were standing by the government. The opposition parties should recognise this, he noted.The MLA has on the day felicitated KUDA Chairman M Yadava Reddy and the newly appointed Director of Employment Generation and Marketing Mission Kapilavai Rambabu. He handed over a cash cheque of Rs 5 lakhs to family members of Telangana activist Sadalakshmi, who died sometime back.Louis Braille statue to

Later on the day, Vinay Bhasker attended a programme at University Arts and Science College at Subedari marking the birth anniversary of French educator and inventor Louis Braille. The programme was organised by visually impaired employees association and released a calendar brought by them.

Speaking on the occasion, the MLA promised to install a statue of Braille in the city by the next birth anniversary of the inventor. He wanted the visually impaired to draw inspiration from Braille, who overcome his shortcoming and developed a system of reading and writing for use by the visually impaired.

“Braille though blinded in both eyes mastered his disability while still a boy and excelled in education and received scholarship to France's Royal Institute for Blind Youth. His life should really inspire us all,” Vinay Bhasker noted. MLA Vinay Bhasker joined lunch with visually impaired students and employees along with the district Child Welfare Committee chairperson K Anitha Reddy, Dr Venkat Reddy and others.
