Jagtial: Endowments Minister A Indrakaran Reddy, along with a host of people’s representatives and Adviser to the TRS government G Vivek, had darshan of Lord in Dharmapuri temple in Jagtial district on Sunday, marking Mukkoti Ekadasi festival. Devotees from other states visited the temple on the occasion. Also Government Chief Whip Koppula Eshwar, MP Balka Suman, ZP Chairperson Tula Uma and several officials have visited the temple.

Dharmapuri Sachidananda Swamy performed ‘Vaikunta dwara darshana pooja’ before opening ‘vaikunta dwaram’. In Nirmal ‘Pallaki Seva’ was offered to Sri Venkateswara Swamy in the historic temple at Devarakota Devasthanam during Dhanurmasa Utsavam as part of Vaikunta Ekadasi celebrations. Many devotees have waiting patiently in long queues since morning for Uttaradwara Darshan.

Temple E0 Narayana told The Hans India that about 15,000 devotees had darshan by the evening. In Srirajarajeswari Swamy Devasthanam at Vemulawada the festivities were organised on a grand scale. Darshan of the deity in the morning and ‘Pallaki Seva’ were conducted for the benefit of thousands of devotees. The murthies of Goddess Parvathi and Sri Anantapadmanabha Swamy were taken out in a procession around the temple, Chandragiri Sarat Sarma, temple priest told THI.
