Riding on Krishna Sidhardha’s swashbuckling 56-run knock, Legala Sports Academy defeated host Noble Cricket Club by three wickets in the Senior Category the inaugural edition of Winter Premier League-2016 cricket tournament at Quli Qutub Shah Stadium.

Meanwhile, the junior championship was won by Global Indian International School, which drubbed Noble Cricket Club by a massive 78 runs in the finals.

Abhijit Kumar was declared player of the tournament in the senior category while in juniors the honour went to Yash Mishra

Later, at an impressive function, prizes were distributed jointly by Dr Faheemuddin Khaja, Principal Crescent Model English School, and veteran sportspersons, Junaid Rafai, Omer Aziz, Syed Shaheen and Dr Nazeeruddin.

Juniors: Global Indian International School 183 for four wickets (K Vishnu 68, Mandeep 37, Ayaz Ahmed 3/21) bt Noble Cricket Club 105 (Pranay 5/20, Gnana Prakash 3/7).
