Fake SI held for trying to fraudulently marry woman
According to the Three Town Circle-Inspector of Police Subash Chandra Bose, Jalna Vamsi, with an intention to trap the woman and marry her, tried to impress by sending his photographs dressed as a Sub-Inspector’s attire holding a revolver.
Nizamabad: A youth of Adarshnagar Colony in the town was arrested on Wednesday after he allegedly posed as a Sub-Inspector of Police and tried to fraudulently marry a resident of the colony and trying to get friendly with her through the Facebook.
According to the Three Town Circle-Inspector of Police Subash Chandra Bose, Jalna Vamsi, with an intention to trap the woman and marry her, tried to impress by sending his photographs dressed as a Sub-Inspector’s attire holding a revolver.
He managed to make a good impression on her, as the woman insisted with her family on marrying the youngster.Vamsi’s game was exposed when her mother lodged a police complaint on Tuesday.
A team headed by the Circle Inspector of Police investigated the case and arrested the youngster. Bose told The Hans India that he was remanded.
