To mark the spirit of harvest festival across India, Park Hyatt hosts a Sankranti Food Festival on January 12, 13 and 14 at The Dining Room.

The new Head Chef of the restaurant, Chef Shashidhar Vijapure has crafted a delightful menu to recreate the authenticity of traditional Sankranti fare in addition to popular festive specialities from the land of five rivers and the Tamil land.

The menu includes south Indian delicacies like Kadalai sundal, Kosambari, Thair vadai, Vazapoo masala wadan, Gutti vonkaya koora, Pumpkin kalan, Kotmalli sadam, Paneer til podi, Surathi undhiyu as well as flavours from the north including Sarson ka saag and Bajre ki khichadi.

The sweet course also has been specially crafted to complement the festive spell and includes traditional sweet dishes like Kobari burfi, Holige served with badam milk and Khus Khuse payasa.

The Sankranti special menu is priced at Rs 1300 for lunch and Rs 1500 for dinner. Prices are not inclusive of taxes.
