Weaves of art

‘Memory Weave’ is an exhibition, which draws close resemblance to textiles and is curated by V Solanki Jamwal.

This exhibition at Hotel Taj Krishna consists of art works by Nandan Ghiya, Sonia Jose, Nidhi Khurana, Shuchi Mehta and Mahesh Pottabathini and is on display till January 13.

The exhibition is about life patterns and the way these patterns weave into our memory. Cities and the places of living form a large part of these experiences.

There are landscapes, maps, contours on wood, aerial view of mountains and pixilated glitches, which show the trends and lifestyles.

There are interesting works which are more or less woven paintings, which look like being done with thread and cloth.
