Telemedicine facility at Nalgonda hospital on the cards
Stating that District government hospital had well-equipped labs and expert doctors, Collector Gaurav Uppal stated that plans were afoot to arrange telemedicine facility to provide the best medical treatment to the patients in the district.

On Monday, the Collector along with hospital Superintendent Narasimha Rao inaugurated digital x-ray unit in the hospital.
Speaking on the occasion, Uppal said digital x-ray and CT scans of the patients would be sent to the Care Foundation through online and in return they would send diagnosis reports to the district hospital.
This will help the doctors to give necessary treatment and medicine to the patients. Besides Nalgonda district hospital, digital x-ray machines were arranged at government hospitals in Miryalaguda and Nagarjunasagar, he added.
Later, he inspected the works of ICU in the hospital and directed the officials to complete the works of RO plant within couple of days to provide water to the patients and visitors.
