Warangal: The State government has been indifferent towards the problems faced by the people, the Communist Party of India (Marxist) Warangal Rural district secretary M Chukkaiah said.
Speaking at a party meeting in Narsampet on Thursday, he said that KCR government has been insensitive to the issues faced by the people, especially farmers.
“Although the TRS government failed miserably in fulfilling its election promises such as three acre land to dalits, double bedroom houses and free KG to PG education to poor, its leaders were taking credit of doing a lot for the welfare of the people,” Chukkaiah said, stating that ruling party has nothing to boast in its three-year rule.
The TRS government is trying to divert the attention of the people by bringing forward new promises, he alleged.
While the farmers are in distress due to lack of minimum support price to chilli, none of the ruling party leader has visited market yards, he said, advising the government mend its ways or face the wrath of the people.
He called upon the party cadres to stage protests at all mandal headquarters on April 28 to expose the failures of the government.
Rythu Sangham Warangal Rural district secretary Peddarapu Ramesh, Bukya Sammaiah, G Yuvaraj, Namindla Swamy and Kumara Swamy were among others present.
