State president K Laxman says the pityful state of Congress is exposed with the comments of its senior party leader Jaipal Reddy
Nalgonda: BJP state president K Laxman stated that after observing the comments of Congress leader Jaipal Reddy of joining hands with political rival TDP to fight the TRS in next elections reflects the Congress party’s pity condition in the state.
Addressing the media at party district office in Nalgonda on Tuesday, Laxman informed that under Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Vistarak Yogana programme, as many as 8,000 party workers would contact 50 lakh families directly and would throw light on the developmental activities taken up by the Narendra Modi led BJP government in the last three years.
Challenging KCR’s survey report of 2019 elections, he demanded KCR show the strength of party in bypolls through resignations of other party MLAs who defected to TRS.
Reiterating that party would come to power in the state in 2019 elections, Laxman informed that party high command designed a route map of two years programmes of the state party unit.
Party district president Nukala Venkatnarayana Reddy and others participated. As part of the programme, he along with local BJP leaders participated in door to door campaign at VT Colony in the town.
‘KCR diverting people attention’
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders came down heavily on Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao stating the latter was diverting the attention people from public issues by playing cheap tricks and gimmicks.
The BJP leaders along with their senior leader Nallu Indrasena Reddy celebrated the birth centenary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya in Khammam on Monday, and later visited the SC Colony situated in Madhira.
Speaking on the occasion, Indrasena Reddy said the BJP has introduced various programmes for the welfare of poor in the country. Calling KCR an opportunistic leader, Reddy said the Chief Minister was unable to digest the popularity the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and national president Amit Shah has in the state.
“KCR is trying to divert the attention of people through false surveys. These type of cheap and gimmicks will not affect the centre,” he said.
He further added that if TRS was confident of winning 111 Assembly seats, then it must suspend the Assembly immediately and participate in elections. “Knowing that the party will face defeat in the next elections, KCR is trying to deceive people with false surveys,” he criticised.
“Why people will vote for TRS party? For reducing the reservations for Backward Classes of for failing to fix MSP or for not providing jobs?” he questioned. Later on the day, N Indrasena Reddy interacted with the residents of SC Colony and had a community lunch with them.
Party district in-charge Yadagiri Reddy, district general secretary Perumallapally Vijayraju, Badisha Arjuna Rao, Papatla Ramesh, Bhavanam Madhusudhan Reddy, Ramishetti Nageshwar Rao, Durga Rao, Ramayogeshwar Rao, Mahankali Srinivas Rao and D V N Someshwar Rao were present along with others.
In Bhadrachalam, The state BJP spokesperson Raghunandan Rao said the Telangana government had miserably failed to serve people. He chaired the 143th booth-level committee meeting on Tuesday.
Stating that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had ignored all promises he made during election time, Rao accused the government of encouraring illegal sand mining in Bhadrachalam.
