Elaborating on the sporting extravaganza, Kamal D Shah, co-founder and director, patient services, said, “Despite being on dialysis for the last 18 years, I swim every day and work full time. At NephroPlus, we firmly believe that dialysis patients can exercise, work and have fun – things otherwise healthy people do. To prove to the world that this is true, we are organising the Dialysis Olympiad where dialysis patients will compete in events like sprints, swimming and other sports and show that this is possible.”
