Recently, a four-year-old girl died due to severe fever at Kanchimbandarpalle village. Sanitation has gone for toss in Kuppam and surrounding villages.

As many as 25 people from the Netaji Road, Vijayalakshmi Road, Munnasamyapuram, SC and BC Colony in Kuppam town were admitted to the area hospital. Of all, three people are said to be in critical condition.
