Many Ayurveda centres in the city marked the day by offering free services. MK Centre for Ayurveda in Malkajgiri distributed pamphlets on the benefits of Ayurveda. Dr Aditi Kulkarni, head of cancer division, treats cancer patients with care. Making them mentally strong to fight the disease is the most important aspect of cancer treatment. “We have the most advanced medicines in Ayurveda that can improve the immunity of the patients, clear the inflammation and also take care of the side effects of drugs used in chemo therapy.

We deal with patients differently and make them happy to prolong their life gracefully and in a happy environment.  As ayurveda deals with body, mind and soul, we take each one into consideration while treating patients,” Rajyalaxmi said. Rajagopal, chief medical counsellor and a well-known healthcare professional, said, “Ayurvedic therapies have proven to relieve stress, anxiety and many postural problems like shoulder and neck pain and backache.
