A group of Kuchipudi dancers, students of dance master Srihari Baladitya Eranki, come all the way from Hong Kong to give a dance performance, Apoorva – 4 presented by Visakha Art and Dance Association(VAADA) at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Hyderabad Kendra, today.

“The word Apoorva means unique and beauty. This group of foreign dancers are going to show that how they got fascinated by our Indian classical dance form Kuchipudi,” shares dance master Srihari Baladitya Eranki who has been teaching these dancers from the year 2003 at a dance academy named Pure Yoga which is located at the centre of the Hong Kong city.

Though VAADA has been organising this event from last three years in Visakhapatnam, this is the first time they have brought it to Hyderabad. The group of twelve dances – Jackie Law, Christina Tsai, Amy Yeung, Fandy Mok, Cynthia Lau, Monica Leung, Tammy Lai, Joyce Yap, Kirby Wong, Lisa Lee, Anuradha Mukunthan and Anita Lee Eranki are extremely excited to perform in the capital city.

“Since Hyderabad is the capital where we can reach out to the majority of dance connoisseurs; after successfully performing in Visakhapatnam, we have decided to perform here,” said Srihari urging all to come and enjoy the beautiful dance evening and encourage the dancers who are also his disciples.
