Getting your coffee fix first thing in the morning takes time — time that could otherwise be spent enjoying some extra shuteye. With the Handpresso, a small car-based espresso machine, you can save your normal coffee routine for your commute.

Handpresso fits in your car’s cup holder and uses 16 bars of pressure to make 1.79 fl. oz of espresso. The process takes only two minutes, so your espresso is ready by the time you peel out of the neighborhood or onto the freeway. It draws power from your car’s 12V outlet.
We take caffeine very seriously at WIRED. We also like gadgets that plug into your car’s 12V adaptor. So while we can’t attest to Handpresso’s espresso results, which it claims to be “delicious, creamy and tasty,” it seems like a pretty rad and efficient way to start your day — or get an espresso anytime you’re on the road.
Handpresso will run you 159 Euros, or approximately `12,000.
