Michael Kasprowicz, Former Australian cricketer and Honorary Ambassador of the city of Brisbane to India, met Mohammad Majid Hussain, Mayor, GHMC on Monday. Kasprowicz, who is in the city to strengthen the education links between Brisbane and Hyderabad, delivered a letter from Graham Quirk, Brisbane Lord Mayor to Majid Hussain.
Graham mentioned that he was eager to meet Ayesha Rubina, Co-Option Member, GHMC at the 2013 Asia Pacific Cities Summit in Kaohsiung in September. Ayesha will represent the GHMC and Hyderabad at the event. Graham believed that his team will deliver a highly successful summit in partnership with the Kaohsiung City
Government and hoped that there would be many positive business and civic outcomes for the Asia Pacific region and beyond. The Brisbane Lord Mayor also sent his warm regards to people of Hyderabad.
