Everybody loves to show off; it’s one of the basest instincts of human nature, to prove that one is better than the other. In some cases, especially in Indian families, if you’re a kid with talent, you’re going to have to perform in front of every relative who walks past your threshold.
Being famous and liked is something we all want, but some people tend to take it too far, in earlier days, being aggressive and mouthy got you all abuzz in the media circles but today it’s a matter of how big a fool you make yourself. It takes guts to be frank, putting up a sign on your head that flashes, ‘I’m an idiot’. This is not to be taken in the literal sense though. These days’ celebs and repeat, celebs are doing whatever it takes to put them back in the limelight and in some instances it doesn’t even make sense as to why they do, what they do!
Earlier, after the disastrous twerking of Miley Cyrus at the VMA 2013, the popular talk show host, Jimmy Kimmel, posted a fake video of him twerking. People with a low IQ thought it to be highly amusing, but those with enough wits to overflow a thimble, asked one pertinent question, ‘What was the point? Everyone knew it was stupid what Miley did!’
Another incident to recently hit twitter was Justin Bieber claiming to be the new Robin on the upcoming Superman and Batman movie to be released in 2015. He posted a photo on twitter via instagram of him holding the script of the movie. For all arguments purpose, it does look original, and the net is divided if Bieber is actually playing Robin or if he is just taking everyone for a joy ride.
Jimmy Kimmel and Bieber are just the tip of the iceberg, if people love to make fools of the public, they should once have a glance in the mirror to get their daily dose of laughter.
