National Literary Fest for youth

Vanguri Foundation of America in association with Andhra Pradesh Cultural Department is presenting a week-long Literary Conclave for Youth at the Thyagaraya Gana Sabha. This is probably the first of its kind literary meet organized for the youth in Telugu literature. The program, inaugurated on Monday by literary luminaries including Dr C Narayana Reddy, Prof Elluri Siva Reddy, Dr Kavita Prasad, Dr Dwana Sastri and Vanguri Chitten Raju, has participants from across Andhra Pradesh. Young poets and writers presented their works on the first day of the conclave. Krishna Mohan’s ‘Oke Oka Vakyam’, poetry of Bathula Ramakrishna, Avadhanula Manibabu, literary essays by Panuganti Seshu Kala, Lakshmi Manasa, Gangi Setti Lakshmi and Narayana, were some of the works that were presented and discussed. The literary conclave is scheduled at 5 pm, everyday till October 5.
