A graduate and two BTech under-graduates died on the spot when the two-wheeler on which they were travelling rammed into a road divider near HMT Company in Jeedimetla.
The deceased have been identified as Vinod, 22, of Sattupalli in Khammam district, Surendar, 22, of Nellore and Vinay Kumar, 23, of Suraram near Jeedimetla. The three were travelling towards Jeedimetla. On their way, Vinay suddenly lost control of the motorcycle and rammed into a divider. They were rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared them brought dead.
Vinod and Surendar were classmates. They were pursuing BTech final year at MLR Institute of Technology in Dundigal. Vinay had completed his graduation.

RTC bus rams into motorcycle, one dies
In yet another accident, Narasimha Naik, 22, of Nalgonda district, died on the spot after a speeding RTC bus collided with a motorbike. According to the police, the victim, a post-graduate student residing in Bandlaguda, was preparing for competitive exams. On Saturday, he had gone to drop his brother, a probationary sub-inspector at Rajendranagar Police Station. On his way back, his motorbike had a head-on collision with the RTC bus coming from the opposite direction at a curve near Budwel Kishtamma Hill located between Bandlaguda and Rajendranagar.

Lorry overturns, driver killed
A 40-year-old lorry driver, Ratlavath Somla, died on the way to hospital after sustaining serious injuries as his vehicle overturned while proceeding from Annaram to Miyapur at Bolaram crossroads in the wee hours of Saturday.
