Rockstars with a dash of ‘Mirchi’

Radio Mirchi, rocked the city with the grand finale of “, a talent contest for college students. The event took place at the amphitheater in Shilparamam.

This hunt for the most talented youth in the state, hand-picked students from the 100 top colleges across Andhra Pradesh, who were further shortlisted. The finale culminated with great fervor in the presence of Tollywood star Swati. Also adding glam to the event was a performance by Baba Shegal’s.

The winners were presented with bikes, mobile handsets and cash prizes along with trophies and certificates.

Commenting on the initiative, Arindam Mondal, cluster head, AP, Radio Mirchi, said, “Radio Mirchi has always believed in connecting with its listeners through platforms that they identify themselves with. Music, dance and fashion are every youth’s anthem. It was a difficult task for the judges to make the decision, as all the contestants were very talented and the competition was tough. We are extremely encouraged by the response to this hunt so far and are confident of finding & rewarding rare talent in the city.”
