Governor to host dinner for President and others tomorrow

Hyderabad: City Police Commissioner Anurag Sharma has imposed certain restrictions on the movement of vehicular traffic on routes leading from Rashtrapati Nilayam to Raj Bhavan in view of President Pranab Mukherjee’s dinner with Governor and others on Tuesday.

According to Police Commissioner, traffic will either be stopped or diverted at the following places/routes from 7.20 pm to 8.10 pm: Rashtrapathi Nilayam–Malla Reddy Nagar–Lothkunta Y Junction–MCEME Signal–Lal Bazaar T junction–Holy Family Church–Trimulgherry crossroads–RTA Office–Hanuman Temple–Karkhana L&O PS–Oxygen Hospital, Vikrampuri– Secunderabad Club ingate–NCC Directorate crossroads–Tivoli crossroads–Plaza crossroads–CTO Flyover–Rasoolpura Junction-PNT flyover–Shyamlal Building–HPS–Begumpet Flyover-Greenlands Junction– Rajiv Gandhi statue (Monappa Island)–Yashoda Hospital–Villa Mary–MMTS- Raj Bhavan.

Similar restrictions will be imposed from Raj Bhavan to Rashtrapati Nilyam after the President’s dinner on the following routes: Rajbhavan–MMTS-Yashoda Hospital–Rajiv Gandhi Statue (Monappa Island)–CM’s Camp Office – Greenlands flyover–Begumpet flyover–HPS out gate–Shoppers Stop–PNT flyover–Rasoolpura-CTO Flyover–Plaza Crossoads– Tivoli Crossroads–NCC Directorate Crossroads–Secunderabad Club in gate–Oxygen Hospital, Vikrampuri–Karkhana L&O PS– Hanuman Temple–RTA Office–Trimulgherry crossroads (Ratnaiaha Petrol Pump)–Holy Family Church–Lal Bazaar T Jn.–MCEME Signal–Lothkunta Y Jn.–Malla Reddy Nagar– Rashtrapathi Nilayam. The traffic coming from AOC Centre will be diverted at Laxmi Nagar towards JBS Picket. Likewise, the traffic coming from Balaji Nagar, Ammuguda and Nagadevata Temple will be diverted at Ambedkar Statue towards RK Puram.
