Yuletide in the Zoo

Nehru Zoological Park witnessed heavy influx of visitors on Christmas. Nearly 27,000 visitors entered the zoo and thoroughly enjoyed the weather and clean and green environment. To meet the demands of heavy inflow of visitors, the zoo management established additional ticket counters and also set up mobile ticket counters for entry of vehicles. Additional security was engaged through outsourcing, to ensure safety and security of animals and visitors.

The toy train and safari vehicles made additional trips to meet the demand of visitors. The zoo officials were on their toes to ensure availability of drinking water to multitude of visitors and to ensure that zoo regulations were not violated.
