Three electrocuted, including a minor
Three electrocuted, including a minor. The Andhra Pradesh Balala Hakkula Sangham has demanded a criminal case to be registered against the Discom officers.
They were employed by a power substation
Three daily wage labourers, hailing from Ananthapur district and residing at Borabanda, were electrocuted on Saturday. They were hired by the Chilakalguda 113 KV substation. Among the three, one was a 12-year-old boy Anand. The minor and the other two were employed by the department for cable joint work. All the three suffered third degree burns and are presently battling for life at the DRDO Hospital in Kanchanbagh.
The Andhra Pradesh Balala Hakkula Sangham has demanded a criminal case to be registered against the Discom officers. It also demanded that the department be penalised for recruiting a minor boy for a hazardous activity.
They wanted the department to meet the medical expenses of all the three victims and a matching compensation.
