Being brought up in Hyderabad, I have learned to love this city, the good as well as the bad. The crazy crowd, the mad traffic whatever it is, I can always find a way to deal with it, but there are a few things that our people do which makes me wanna gag! I am mentioning those maddening things that hyderabadi’s do in hopes that I am not alone in this!

1. Road is not your spittoon

If you think even for a second that this is only for the illiterates you are mistaken, this is for every uncle, aunt, child (yes that’s right) who thinks it is their birth right to spit on the road, it is not. So FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! Just stop spitting on the roads!
2. Girls are not your FB posts

Why is it cool to comment on the girl passing by you? I don’t understand and neither does any sensible person. Please, let the girl breath. You might think that you have achieved a medal by throwing comments around but trust me, some day there sure are going to be stones thrown at you.
3. The price tag people

You are wearing a Gucci purse, well good for you but what are you trying to achieve by showing it off to each and every person is a million dollar question. Try to be subtle, it is good for you as well as people around you!
4. Stop bargaining

I think bargaining is an art and am not saying bargaining as a whole is wrong. I am talking about aunties who go to a fixed price shop and demand that they get a discount. And to realize that those who brag about the brand they are carrying are often the people who do this! Such a shame.

Let it be an auto driver and a person with a car, the moment someone bumps into their vehicle they get on with swearing and abusing them. Would you take a chill pill? Most of the times there will nothing wrong with your vehicle and you are shouting at the poor bloke for no reason.
6. Use public urinals

Doesn’t matter if you are in the old city or somewhere near hi-tech city, you are bound to see people urinating on the road sides. Please, show some mercy on public mainly women and use the public urinals. If they are not clean enough for you, go to a mall or better a place called ‘home.’
