There is every reason for theatre lovers to rejoice as the city’s flagship theatre extravaganza, “Qadir Ali Baig Theatre Festival” was opened to a gala ceremony on Friday. Governor ESL Narasimhan inaugurated the 9th edition of the festival, at Shilpa Kalavedika.
There is every reason for theatre lovers to rejoice as the city’s flagship theatre extravaganza, “Qadir Ali Baig Theatre Festival” was opened to a gala ceremony on Friday. Governor ESL Narasimhan inaugurated the 9th edition of the festival, at Shilpa Kalavedika.
In this edition the plays presented will revolve around the theme biographies and the festivities opened with “Boiled Beans on a Toast”, a play directed by Lilette Dubey. Renowned danseuse Vani Ganapathy, noted actor Mohan Agashe and host of other celebrities and socialites attended the event. The festival is open till November 16.
