An ardent fan of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, his efforts will surely make heads turn. Mohammad Maqbool calls himself a passionate follower of KCR and has embarked on a mission to publicise the government’s schemes.

 Mohammad Maqbool

Maqbool is a resident of Bhola Nagar in Banjara Hills and starts his day at 7 am. He makes a living by selling insecticides and earns anywhere between Rs 6,000 and Rs 9,000 a month. Everyday Maqbool wraps up his business around 2 pm and then sets out to publicise the government schemes on his cycle.

"I am impressed by KCR's governance. I am mainly promoting schemes like Shaadi Mubarak, Aasara Pension Scheme, Scheme for Disabled People etc." On Friday, Maqbool cycled almost 14 kilometers between Erragadda and Secunderabad publicising the government schemes.

When quizzed about the reason for this endavour, Maqbool says, "KCR is serving the State with an empty stomach. He is like an elder son to every poor family.”The follower has been dreaming of meeting the chief minister but has been denied permission so far.

"I want to meet KCR and request him to provide jobs for unemployed youth who are roaming around the streets of Hyderabad. Their families would remember him until their last breath," an obsessed Maqbool says before his pedals away shouting the slogan 'Jai Telangana'.
