Hyderabad: Veeramachaneni Padagaiah High School, located at Sitaphalmandi, Secunderabad conducted ‘Inspiration Day’ in their school premises on Wednesday. Asmita Satayarthi, daughter of Nobel peace prize winner Kailash Satyarthi was the chief guest.
Interacting with students Asmita Satayarthi said “I am extremely happy by the news of my father winning Nobel Prize for peace in 2014 for his yeomen service for the cause of ‘Bachpan Bachao’ and I am proud being part of my father’s activities since my childhood”. She has asked students to stand up and inform parents or teachers if they notice incidents like- child labour, beating, harassing, trafficking and other undesirable acts against children.
