Water Board nets Rs 1,213 cr
Highlights
The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) collected Rs 1,213 crore towards water tariff and connection charges during the financial year 2013-14. In the month of March alone, the board collected Rs 145 crore, Rs 50 crore more during the same period last year. Rs 300 crore towards water tariff and connection charges was a major addition this year. There has also been a substantial increase in the paid CANs from April 2014 to March 2015.
