Woodcut 2015, an art exhibition of woodcut prints done by 13 eminent and emerging artists from across the nation, is organising an art camp conducted by Dhi Artspace from April 2 to May 15 at their gallery premises in Ameerpet. Inaugrated by Pinky Redyy, Jagadish Mittal and Thota Vaikuntam on Saturday, Dhi Artspace is exhibiting multi-coloured woodcut prints, the first-of-its-kind that was held as a dedicated camp initiative, highlighting the importance of the technique as well as a medium of self expression. The objective of the exhibition is to promote and encourage the technique of printmaking as a medium of artistic expression.
