No truce between Army & Kowkoor residents yet: C Kanaka Reddy

Malkajgiri MLA Chintala Kanaka Reddy held a press conference on Tuesday to address several civic issues of the Kowkoor residents and focussed on the bad condition of the roads. “A certain news item in an English daily on Tuesday stated that the Army had given permission to go ahead with the development works is incorrect. Till now no such permission was given by the Army authorities, but negotiations are in progress and the matter would be settled amicably,” Reddy said. “We are in talks with the Army authorities regarding the civic issues and certain approvals are to be made by the Army authorities for laying the road from Yapral to Kowkoor Darga and underground drainages, etc,” Reddy added.
