Telangana Open School Society for 2015 is making arrangements and taking precautions for ensuring peaceful conduct of the Intermediate and SSC examinations, which will be held from May 4 to 12.
Hyderabad District Additional Joint Collector B Sanjeevaiah on Friday said that the examinations will be held in two sessions, the first from 9.30 am to 12 pm and the second from 2 pm to 5 pm.
“There are a total of 61 centres of which 21 are for Intermediate and 40 are SSC centres in Hyderabad district. 6,114 students from Intermediate and 9,737 from SSC would be appearing for the examinations,” he said.
“Instructions were given to the all the departmental heads to ensure uninterrupted power supply, drinking water facility, proper RTC bus facility and emergency medical care centres for first aid and for other emergency services and police security,” he added.
Sanjeevaiah appealed to the students to come to the examination centres with their hall tickets half an hour before the commencement of the examination schedule time.
