Yash Joshi, a student of class III, of VIBGYOR High School, Balewadi, Pune secured the first rank in the 17th National Science Olympiad (NSO) at international level conducted by Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) for the academic year 2014-2015. Students from more than 31500 schools from 1400 cities in 19 countries took this examination.

Students from more than 31500 schools from 1400 cities in 19 countries took this examination.

Yash Joshi, along with other toppers, will each be awarded a medal, a cash prize of 50,000 rupees, a certificate and also a gift worth 1000 rupees at an award function organised by SOF on May 31, 2015 at New Delhi. Sandra Cheema, Principal og VIBGYOR High, Balewadi said, “At VIBGYOR High, our students are challenged with a unique educational experience, nurturing their talent and encouraging them to unleash their true potential.

I would like to congratulate Yash for his achievement and wish him a successful future”. Apart from NSO, Yash also appeared in National Cyber Olympiad, International Mathematics Olympiad, International English Olympiad as well as NSTSE where he secured the first rank at school level, first rank at the State level, second rank at the school level and first rank at the State level respectively..
