Kids donate 50K for social causes
Putting their summer vacation to good use, a group of 15 children of Polisetty Enclave at Vikrampuri organised an entertaining show as part of a fundraising event.
Putting their summer vacation to good use, a group of 15 children of Polisetty Enclave at Vikrampuri organised an entertaining show as part of a fundraising event. Children aged between six to 15 years performed a skit, instrumental music and dance and collected Rs 50,000 which they donated to the NGO, Heal-A-Child Foundation.
What is interesting is the children did not go to summer camps, but instead got together and with the help of elders learnt baking, dance and drama. The skit ‘Save the Girl Child’ was the highlight of the evening.
The kids - Miheen, Nitisha, Aaryaveer, Triveni, Dhruv, Farmaan, Arjun, Pradyum, Lokesh, Sai, Neelesh approached J Ramakrishna, Secunderabad Cantonment Board member who agreed to sponsor the events expenses.
